Cómo configurar un servidor de ficheros Linux con Samba, con validación de contraseñas de dominio UPVNET
Se parte de la base que se ha instalado Samba y que se conoce su configuración básica.
El truco está en modificar el fichero smb.conf añadiendo lo siguiente:
workgroup = UPVNET
security = DOMAIN
Posteriormente, y antes de reiniciar samba, se ejecuta en una consola la siguiente orden:
net rpc join -U agregar
Cuando pregunte por la contraseña, también es agregar
Si todo va bien, aparecerá un mensaje de que se ha agregado correctamente al dominio UPVNET. Después, reiniciar samba con /etc/init.d/samba restart y, a partir de entonces, todos los usuarios que tengan cuenta en el servidor Linux podrán acceder a los recursos compartidos del servidor desde la red Windows, con su propia contraseña de dominio UPVNET.
